Thanks for posting these. It's good to picture the area. I guess you were up in a balcony during the prayer time. That lake sounded solidly frozen but glad you used caution.
No problem. Yes, I was in the balcony which is very close to the room I was staying in (the last video). Guests have to worship in the balcony except for the Eucharist (Lord's Supper) service during which we were able to go sit in chairs which are in the dark beyond where the monks are sitting in the third video. They sit even further away from the balcony during that service. You can see a dot of light in the third video which is a lit candle on the far wall of the church which is actually cross shaped. So the candle would be on the head of the cross and you can only see about midway down the center- beam of the cross. I am sitting at the feet of the cross (the balcony).
